Introduction

Hadih and Bin Honzoo everyone! I figured I’d introduce myself 😊 My name is Satsi Naziel and I’m the artist responsible for this website and content. 👋

As is tradition I’ll introduce my parents as well, My father is Smogelgem -Warner Naziel. And my mother is Eligia Seguel of the beauuutiful country of Chile.

I was raised knowing my spirit is free, and have known a lot about wet’suwet’en culture and spirituality, as well as dabbling in other religions and spiritual perspectives as my heart and soul see fit.

I come from an upbringing of meeting many activists, and learning about the many types of intersectional oppressions that exist in this world. As a teen I’ve had the privilege of travelling, public speaking on behalf of my clan of my indigenous nation,  and spending a year living on the land full time. This Yintah, land, is precious and beautiful. Sacred in way that it must be protected…as my ancestors, who I respect,  are buried in their final resting place there. All living beings depend on a clean and healthy ecosystem, which my nations’ people have kept clean for thousands and thousands of years. All life is sacred, all life feels pain, and to purposefully pollute it is an act that goes beyond our human nature and human awareness of helping one another. It’s why we call animal and plant life, “relatives”.

I advocate for mental health normalization, and just being a kind , and understanding human being to all. I’ve been through many experiences that shaped me into who I am today. And have succeeded, and failed, in many things like all of us as human beings must go through.

But as they say, rejection, failure… is just divine re-direction.

I’ll be sharing more soon, about my life as the northwest coast style indigenous artist. And as I pursue bettering my life in many different ways 😊🙏

Mussiyh’, thank you, for reading and supporting my journey as an indigenous/latina artist. If you can, please follow my socials , and check out my newly renovated website with products of my designs on there. Many thanks! And all the best, said with love 🫶🏽
